'The passage you disliked is a piece of broad drollery (from life) which I ought not to have written in a way that could be misunderstood, and there is a good deal of bitterness in the book which is much worse.' 'Maelbheannachta' may be one of Cearbhall ? Dalaigh's siblings, several of whom worked at the Irish Press.
